Gannet Rock Lighthouse is built on a lonely rock at sea, located about 13 km off Grand Manan. The lighthouse was built in 1831, being lit for the first time on December 20, 1831. This print depicts the light as it appeared while still manned. Since the light was fully automated some buildings have been removed.
