Bluenose - Grand Banks schooners are an icon of Maritime Canada. Not only were they renowned for their speed at sea, but they were built for the job of seaworthy fishing offshore on the Grand Banks. These schooners were the work horses of the fishery, and had to pay good dividends in groundfish catches for their owners. But their grace and beauty still inspire today.
