This painting depicts the boat repair business of Harvey Bleumortier and Russ Harvey in the 1960's on the historic Seal Cove waterfront on Grand Manan Island. The boat was secured to a cradle that was winched up greased wooden ways to allow the men to do repair work on the wooden boats.
